Your complete itinerary will be sent to you once we have finalised all your booking details. You will then be required to carefully check the itinerary and approve it before bookings are finalised and any airline tickets are issued – if applicable.

What does my quote include?

All inclusions are clearly outlined in your itinerary with costings, which will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed. If an item such as breakfast is not included it will not appear in your itinerary and this will need to be added on an as an optional extra. Please ask your consultant if you are unsure.

Are there any additional charges or hidden costs?

There are no hidden costs. We will advise you on your itinerary if you are required to pay a local supplier direct. If the local supplier changes the amount payable direct, Cherry Picked Travel can not be held liable for this amount.

When do I need to pay a deposit?

Generally a deposit is required within 7 days of receiving a confirmation of your itinerary from us. Please note that until we have received your deposit, your booking is not confirmed. The final balance will be due 45 days prior to departure. There may be variations to this timing dependant on the supplier requirements. What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Generally we are bound by the terms and conditions required by the travel supplier.

It is extremely important that travel insurance is taken out at the time of paying a deposit to cover you for cancellation due to an unforeseen event. Not all events are covered by travel insurance, so it is important to check with your agent or insurance company as to what is covered by the policy selected.

Deposited bookings cancelled 60 or more days prior to travel:  Deposit is non-refundable. In addition to this you will be charged any cancellation fees that are levied by the supplier plus a $300 per person cancellation fee from Cherry Picked Travel. This will be deducted from the supplier refund.

Fully paid bookings cancelled 60 days or more prior to travel: Deposit is non-refundable. In addition to this you will be charged any cancellation fees that are levied by the supplier plus 10% of gross booking value or $300 per person cancellation fee from Cherry Picked Travel – whichever is higher. This will be deducted from the supplier refund.

Fully paid bookings cancelled within 60 days of travel:  Unless otherwise stated, bookings cancelled inside 60 days are generally non refundable, however refunds will be according to the travel suppliers terms and conditions. If any supplier refunds are applicable, Cherry Picked Travel will retain the original commission amount.

Cancelling and rebooking: If you cancel a booking and re-book another holiday to a lesser value, Cherry Picked Travel will retain the original commission amount, or a $300 per person cancellation fee, whichever is the lesser amount. All cancellations must be made in writing to the consultant who is handling the booking.

How do I make a cancellation or change to my booking?

Contact your consultant by email or phone as soon as possible. Cancellations must be requested in writing. Fees are charged for amendments to bookings once they have been confirmed. For a full list of Cherry Picked Travel’s service fees and charges, see below.
